This cookbook is a huge disappointment for anyone who is looking for actual recipes. Most of the recipes are common foods that don't include milk, egg, or nut anyway.(Fish with lemon, pepper and olive oil,or cold vegetable salad. Some are so simple they have only two or three ingredients (dip corn chips into applesauce, BLT). Only one recipe per page, with many pages over half empty. Very few recipes that are reworked to omit dairy, egg, and nut. Only two cookie and one cake recipe.

I love this book. It has simple to follow recipe instructions and ingredients. The guacamole is delicious, as is the strawberry pie. You cannot even tell that the chocolate cake is an allergy-free cake. It was delicious!

I found the receipes in this book to be fabulous! I made the Soy Nut Butter cookies and they tasted almost exactly like peanut butter cookies! My son loves peanut butter cookies, but often can't take them to school for a treat for the class because of peers with peanut allergies. I now have something that my son likes and his peers with allergies can enjoy with him as well! Thanks Penny for following your call to write this book!
