All's Well That Ends Well is about Helena, who is a maid that cures the King of France and asks for Lord Bertram's hand in marriage. Lord Bertram agrees but leaves to fight in Italy, in a war in which he hopes to die. Helena travels to Florence, trades places with his mistress Diana, and tricks Lord Bertram into sleeping with her. Thinking that he is sleeping with Diana, Lord Bertram sleeps with Helena, securing their marital bond. All's Well That Ends Well is an important work of Shakespeares, and is highly recommended for fans of his works as well as those discovering his plays for the first time.
