Isobella is a shining star and in this book she shows that she is a fearless leader who will stop at nothing or give in to anything in her path. Her perserverance is admirable. She is truly an inspiration to anybody in pursuit of their dreams. A must-read!

I love reading books about the underdog and seeing the "little guy" come out on top. I sat down and read the whole book in a day. Isobella Jade has a very exciting writing style...everytime I was going to put it down, she wrote something that capture my attention and made me read the next page. The author used great voice and vivid imagery. I felt like I was walking next to her going through all of her experiences. This book is a true tale of chasing your dreams - even in heels through NYC. The author is not just a model, she's an inspiration to anyone fighting for their chance at success. So, put on your heels...and go chase your dreams! In the mean time, I'll put on my flats/sneakers and go chase mine, haha!

This is a well told story of the often times difficult life of a petite model in NYC. She never lost sight of her dream and wound up with a book written with humor and insight. I enjoyed reading this book and especially enjoyed the voice the author used when telling her tale.

This is more than just a memoir, its a look into the glam and grit of the modeling world and a look at how the underdog can overcome odds. Its also has some humorous parts, and is relatable to those outside the modeling world. B&N also shows the little lady has a grapic novel coming out later this year, def have to check that out.

Overview
Isobella Jade is the shortest working model in New York City. This is her first book. It is about her early modeling pursuits that led her to later work with major brands and magazines; this is the grit of becoming a self-made model. When she was nineteen she posted her photo on a free Internet modeling website unaware of the risk, passion and self-discovery that would follow. From that day, being a college student in New York City wasn't exciting anymore and instead being a model in New York City sounded so much better. Despite her slim chances of getting a modeling agent based on her height, she grabbed her bootstraps and used the Internet to promote herself. Except after months of running in-between her college classes ...
