Unlikely Groom

Rye couldn't believe his luck. He was being paid to protect the prim-and-proper Paige, the same woman he'd been verbally battling with for years. But now that he'd finally gotten a look at the elusive Ms. O'Halloran, he knew he was in for some cold showers. For suddenly Rye wanted to turn their "honeymoon" into the real thing.

Rye Falls in Love with Paige!!

Paige O'Halloran is the comptroller for O'Halloran Shipping, her father's business, she's being followed by Security Expert & Bodyguard Rye Warner for her own protection but without her knowledge. Rye's been hired by her father to follow her to San Francisco from her home in Boston and keep her out of harm's way--it's tricky but he does by kidnapping her. Rye and Paige have never met in person but have argued over his itemized billing for O'Halloran Shipping on the phone and in faxes--he calls her 'Harry' and her name for him is 'Warner the Barbarian' Rye has to stay with Paige in the Honeymoon Cottage--it does test their feelings for each other. Our heroine doesn't have the 'perfect' body she thinks but Rye feels she does. Ms Crosby has written a wonderfully complex and very sexy book. I fell in love/lust for Rye along with Paige.
