Just reread this book and am stunned once again at the depth of emotion Dorothy Garlock can bring to life in her writing! I love this story!

Truly exceptional romance................................................. A real love story.  Light and Maggie do not spend half the book playing games with each other.  Their devotion to each other from the getgo is heartwarming.  The author has a way of describing life in the early 1800s wilderness that just takes you there.  'Really great read.  Don't skip this one.

Here's a great story of passion and adventure. Unknowingly, my husband was reading this book over my shoulders and was quite surprised to find he was reading a romance that wasn't full of mush and gush!
