Would you take another shot at love? Or just settle on a friend with benefits?

Their heartbreaking past will move you. Their passion will make you blush. Their antics will make you laugh out loud.

Twenty-five-year-old Natalie Davenport lugs substantial baggage. One boyfriend after the next has been a total disaster, leaving Natalie distrustful toward the male population in general. So when Colin Hampton crosses her path, she’s cautious. Her heart (and some other body parts!) nudges her to go for it, while her head wants her to run for the hills.

Colin is one of those gorgeous guys who attract women, no matter the age or marital status. With a successful career at a popular Seattle radio station, hard body, and charming personality, he is the complete package. But something dark lurks in the corners of his soul; some murky experience that has changed him—maybe for the better, but maybe for the worse.

Will he steal her heart and stomp over it like other guys did?

Will she let him into her heavily fortified world despite herself?

Or will they settle somewhere in the middle—establishing the emotional boundaries to protect them from falling in love?

This was my first time reading this author’s work as such I was not sure what to expect. After reading the blurb and a few of the reviews I thought this sounds like an interesting read. Almost matched started out rather interesting. I thought it was rather funny the way that Colin and Natalie met. I give Natalie props because that were to happen to me, I would be totally mortified and probably would not show up for that meeting knowing that the source of my embarrassment would be present. It was easy to relate to Natalie and her problems when it came to finding the right guy. What’s ironic about her situation though is the she is the co-owner of a successful matchmaking company, but she was unable to find her perfect match. What I loved most about this story is the interaction between Natalie and her friends. The bond that existed between these friends appears strong. It’s obvious they care about each other and they had each other’s backs. I also loved the author’s writing style as it made me feel as if I was on the sidelines looking in. My only problem with the story is that the romance between Natalie and Collin felt a bit stilted. There were times it was bit boring and I felt it was not going anywhere. It’s clear that Collin had a secret and his failure to reveal to Natalie was having a negative impact on their relationship. In spite of this I found Almost Matched somewhat enjoyable and I can’t wait to start book two as I would love to know what’s going to happen next. DISCLOSURE: I received a complimentary copy from the author to provide an honest review.

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review. Very cute, author did very well on branching out from her previous writing genre With more writing in this style, it can only get better. The camaraderie between the 4 friends is great. Although Caroline is a prude and we don’t see much of Jena. Even though Ali wasn’t a main character, I really liked her. But we need to clean up her act a bit. Natalie and Colin are a good fit, hope it all works out for them. We were left with a big cliff hanger on this.

*This is a Review of ALL 3 books since it is one continuous story* I don’t read novella series too often but I’m so glad I read this one. I read all 3 in one evening. I was in tears from laughing many times and then other times I would be swooning over Colin’s sweetness to Natalie or fanning myself during one of the many steamy sex scenes. Colin and Natalie mesh together perfectly. They compliment each other really well. Natalie keeps Colin grounded (and I think entertained). She is sweet but also has a feisty side. This comes out most when she is with her girlfriends. Those women had my laughing so many times. Their antics and the dilemmas Natalie gets into just had me rolling and doing a lot of “OMG!” Colin is successful, sexy, sweet, protective, and a little but of an alpha male at times. The personalities of all of the characters were individual yet meshed well together and I could easily picture their group in real life. The characters were really great to read about. The story line was interesting and I was easily engrossed from the very beginning of the first book. The story flowed smoothly and had plenty going on in each novella to keep anyone interested without overwhelming the reader. The books were wonderful to read and I would totally NOT object to reading more books in the series. Excellent work and a 5 out of 5 stars!

If you love romantic comedies, this book is for you! Peart's characters are hilarious, lively, and the best of friends. Main character, Natalie, has had a series of failed relationships and is wary of the very hot Colin. She nearly sabotages herself with her expectations that something is wrong with this seemingly perfect guy. And it's true, Colin really is hiding something from her... but what? Natalie's friends are funny and supportive of their best pal. (Think Sex in the City.) I would highly recommend this book to romance readers.

This book will have you laughing and crying - meet Natalie, a girl who has no luck in the boyfriend department but has 3 wild ad crazy girlfriends. Meet Colin who is almost too good to be true. He has that sexy little curve to his smile - old fashioned manners but a deep dark secret that threatens to tear him and Natalie apart.  A super awesome read - can't wait to read the next book in this series. Would definitely recommend this book to everyone. Thank you A. o. Peart for a wonderful book

A ball of laughs with a surprising emotional core that gives weight to the story. Crisp scenes, precise writing, and memorable characters. Their friendship sounds so real! It reminds me of Sex & The City with a splash of Bridget Jones. I may not be the target audience for this novel, but I had a great time reading it, and I look forward to more books in the series.

At the beginning, we meet Natalie who was running late to work from a few bad lucks the night before. Then we meet her friend Ali who happens to be her business partner and later on, Colin who will be more than just a friend. I like how the story just unfolds like reality because life can be unexpected at times. We get to know more about Colin's past later on in the book of how he coped from a tragedy to being successful in life with a minor setback. Hopefully book number 2 will explain exactly what happened to Colin before settling in Seattle.

So what do you get when you take a single woman who runs a match making business that she co-owns and toss in one very fine man?  You get some seriously steamy attraction with a few humorous mishaps and hilarious friends to help stir the pot. There are some hurdles to overcome for these two but their journey will keep you enthralled! A definitely must read!

How refreshing. Smart, sassy, and fun to read. What's a woman to do? She runs her own match making service - a highly successful and respected service - but can't seem to find a man of her own. And in strolls Colin, literally. Caught with her top off, Natalie is mortified! Colin, on the other hand, is attracted immediately. The sparks between these two are so hot they sizzle. The supporting characters in this merry romp are no less entertaining. I literally could imagine having those kinds of snarky conversations with my BFFs when I was younger! Not everything is smooth sailing. There are twists and turns enough to keep you entertained throughout. Ms. Peart's Almost Bad Boys series is off to a wonderful start!

Loved it!!!! love Natalie & Colin  this was a fun read for me! Down on luck when it comes to her own love life she has had some bad relationships. But sparks fly when she runs into Colin. I really loved his character! This had some good sexuality based humor and i think thats what i loved the most about it. Natalie and Colin together is kinda hot. I just love the sexual chemistry.  Now im not going to get into to much details because well i do not want to ruin this for anyone but just know this is a must read!!!!!!  one of my favorite parts is Natalie running into Colin in her Bra and skirt! it was pretty damn funny. my sister looked at me funny when out of no where i started busting up laughing.  Just read this book give it a try you will not regret it.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for a review,Natalie and her friends are unique bunch of girls. They all get together for a girls night out to help Natalie get over her break up.  The next day Natalie wakes up late and her car doesn't turn on. She has to take a cab to work and gets stuck in traffic. She ends up walking the rest of the way and is a total mess by the time she gets to work. She is changing in her office to a new shirt when she realizes her clothes are mixed up with her best friend and work partners. So she is half dressed when she decided to run to her partners office and get her shirt from there. What happens she runs in to Colin, it was awkward and embarrassing. Natalie goes into the office gets her shirt and runs in to the meeting room, Where her clients have been waiting for her. That's where she see's Colin. Before Colin leaves he tells Natalie to call him. Natalie debates whether to call him or not. I wont tell anymore but this is  a great read. I loved it and can't wait to read the next book.

Almost Matched is my first book by A.O Peart. Being a Contemporary Romance novel it’s not usual type of read. But, I’m always willing to try something new so I went for it just because the synopsis sounded too good to pass up. Colin Hampton is a charmer through and through. He’s handsome, hilarious and he can cook. But, everyone has their demons and his run deep. But when he meets Natalie, in a hilarious moment of indignity, he can’t help but want her. But, he remains a mystery to readers, he is a puzzle we must figure out. Natalie Davenport runs a successful match making business with one of her closest friends. But, while they make matches for a living, she has a list of failed relationships. But, when Colin’s witty humor and persistence finally break through her wall, she can’t help but fall hopelessly in love with him. Almost Matched has the best characters I have run into yet. The imagination behind the author completely brings their personalities alive. They had me laughing so hard at times I’d cry. Natalie and her friends will remind most woman of their closest friends. But, where there is laughter there will be pain.  This is the first book in the Almost Bad Boy Series it will bring laughter to your ereader that’s for sure! If you’re a fan of Contemporary Romance, hilarious situations and sexual tension you will love Almost Matched!

Natalie and her friends are successful girls having bad luck with love. They are torn between risking their hearts or just settling on a friend-with-benefits situation. I loved them all, their humor, their camaraderie and even their issues, most especially Caroline’s. She had me grinning from ear to ear, and trying my best to contain my laughter in the wee hours of the morning. Natalie had been torn by men before. She had losers for a boyfriend – a good guy is such a rare commodity, that even her, who runs a dating services for executives can’t find her match. She doesn’t trust men, until Colin Hampton came into her office and swept her off her feet. Their first meeting – it was just EPIC. I can just picture out her horrified expression and Colin’s wicked grin vividly in my mind. Colin is a chic magnet, with a great career at a popular Seattle radio station. He has a whole lot of talents, he’s sexy, and a very charming personality. He’s the perfect package if not for the dark past he’s trying to keep and to get away from. It had scarred him for life, and left him traumatized. Nevertheless, despite their baggage, you will love these two characters, including the girls in the series: Jena, Caroline and Ali. They are a crazy bunch that will keep you smiling throughout the novels. Their naughty antics will have you laughing your hearts out in no time. In the first book, we watch this two trying to fight off their attraction, but eventually gave in to it. I like that Natalie was cautious about everything, but not really to the point of paranoia, she just have some concerns. At least she doesn’t jump into decisions, and prefers to take baby steps. As for Colin – I admire his patience and his willingness to wait until she was, ummm… ready. But what I would love more is to get inside his brains. I fell in love with the covers, and the promise of laughter and romance as well. Almost Bad Boys had me blushing and laughing, and thank goodness it is short enough to read in one sitting.  ¿Complimentary Copy was given in exchange for an honest review.¿

Almost Matched introduces us to Natalie Davenport and Colin Hampton. Their first meeting is, for lack of a better word, unique, but it is ignites something that neither of them seem to be able to ignore. Encouraged by her girl posse to just go have some long-overdue sex, Natalie agrees to take Colin up on his offer for a date, but both Natalie and Colin soon realize that the chemistry between them goes far beyond just friends with benefits. I really enjoyed the characters in this story. Natalie and her business partner, Ali, have a fun and engaging dynamic. Throw in their other two friends, Caroline and Jena, and the giggles just kept coming. These are four strong woman each in different phases of their business, social and personal lives, but they fit together as perfectly as pieces of a puzzle. The banter is fresh and amusing, but even more wonderful is the support and understanding they give one another. Colin seems like every girl’s dream. He’s charming and sexy, and we know – or at least he eludes – that he’s been a bit of a player, but honestly, we see no hint of that Colin. What we do see is a dedicated and committed business man, and a dream of a boyfriend. He’s attentive and understanding. He’s patient and even a little indulging when it comes to Natalie. I loved these two together. Just as I was settling in for an enjoyable romance, however, author A.O. Peart threw a curveball-- something I didn’t see coming – and then followed it with the dreadful words “The End.” Fortunately, book two, Almost Broken Up is already cued in my Kindle. 3-1/2 enjoyable stars.

Awesome!! I loved this book! I could not put this book down until I finished it. I love Natalie and her friends they are so funny, my kind of friends.  Natalie and her friends have terrible experiences with men, and they are all afraid to give love another chance. Natalie meets Colin at a business meeting, he happens to walk into her office while she is changing her shirt. Colin is swoon worthy alpha male, and they are instantly attracted to each other.  Natalie and Colin settle into a hot steamy relationship until Natalie notices that Colin is pulling away from her. She soon learns Colin’s secret and they must learn to work out their issues together. If you love a great steamy romance, then you have to read this book and series. I am so glad that I already have the second book in this series because I was able to start it as soon as I finished this one.   A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

I was given this book by the author, A. O. Peart for an honest review. This book is the first book of the series by the author. After being dumped by her boyfriend Natalie is very cautious about men so when she meets a man does she want love and romance, a 1 night stand or does she want a friend with benefits? I love how this character tries to handle the emotions she has for Colin. The only problem I have with this book is nothing. All the characters work well together and the story line just flows with everything that is being told. Love, a 1 night stand or friends with benefits that is what Natalie has to decide what she wants from Colin when he walks into her life. Does she follow her gut or her heart for Colin. This is a very good romance book for a mature reader because of some sexual situations.

This is the first book that I have read by AO Peart and the verdict is that I loved it! I could not stop reading until I was finished with the story. In this first book, Almost Matched in the Almost series we are introduced to Natalie who has had a long list of failed realtionships; her friends Ali who is also her business partner who likes the Friends with Benefits approach to dating; Jena who also likes the FWB type of dating; and Caroline who has boob issues or lack of boobs but otherwise is a riot. To this volatile mixture add in Colin who has the hots for Natalie and sets about getting her. Laugh with this unlikley group as they go through life as the young are want to do. This is an adult book with adult situations and language and therefore not for anyone below that age. In addition this book comes with a warning that it is full of wit and hilarious situations that will keep you in stitches.

Uggh, another cliffhanger Almost Matched is the story of Collin, hot guy from a radio station, and Natalie, the girl who has had one too many bad relationships. After literally bumping into each other, the two meet, develop an attraction, and after some time, actually go out. Taking things slow due to her history, Natalie is finding herself falling deeper for Collin and the best part is that he is falling for her just the same. Time seems to slip by quickly in this story and I honestly am not sure how long they are together before things get a little strange with Collin. Natalie knows he is troubled by his past but she doesn't get the extent of it, nor does she want to push. Just as things get explained, the bomb is dropped and the story is over. Uggh. Now overall the book was actually ok. Natalie and her friends are really funny and some things had me laughing. Collin has issues but for some reason, I didn't get that attachment where my heart broke for him once we knew the story. I get the feeling that those feelings will come in the next book as the preview starts with Collin's past. So for a funny, enjoyable, quick read I would recommend this book, but due to the cliffy I would hold off on it until the rest come out. I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review

All 3 books are good. But if the series is called 'Almost Badboys', there should be multiple boys. All of the books are about Natalie and Colin.
