A young man awakens from a long hibernation sleep on-board an eerie and crew-less space shuttle with no memory of who he is or how he ended up on board.

When a young woman awakens from hibernation shortly after him and curiously has no previous memories about her past either, our protagonist is forced to solve the mystery of the 'lost in space' vessel, who the pair really are and what became of the other crew members who haunt him frequently with their ghostly and chilling apparitions.

Soon the young man must come to terms with his own lonely fate, his possible limited existence and a dangerous sexual urge towards his fellow amnesiac companion.

Born in London to Scottish and Irish parents, Sean spent most of his childhood and teenage years growing up on the move in the likes of Cyprus, Germany, Wales and England as an army brat. With a keen interest in both reading and writing he was diagnosed with the travel and writing bugs very early on in life.

Now, writing, reading and traveling are his main passions in life, but he also loves outdoor sports too from Rugby and Hiking to Tennis and Boxing.

His main inspiration for writing today comes from living in such a beautiful, Gothic and hauntingly, awe inspiring city such as Edinburgh. This charming wee city has given Sean so much amazing inspiration to write the more time he spends there.

At this moment Sean is writing another two books, one is a sequel to his science fiction novel Alone. The other is about his recent back packing adventure through Eastern Europe.

So far he has two published work of fiction -

The Universe Doesn't Do Second Chances and Cafe Independence.

And 4 self published novels.

    Not bad.

Quite a few gramatical errors(like that one there. We can't catch them all) and a relatively simple, easy to digest writing style. All in all a decent quicl read, but one problem- why do they have an axe on Shuttle? BUT why did you have to go all Return of the Jedi on us?

Intriguing story. SciFi with a horror twist.

The ending was a bit disappointing. Would have been much better if there had been another twist, like a human survey ship taking readings finding the shuttle.

    Loved it

I really enjoyed this story, it starts out as a puzzle of whats going on, then takes upon a maze of dark twisted curve balls with a sad and desolute ending

You see david as a scared innocent child even after you discover his truths

    This is a great read

Great little book and interesting idea too, had patches of Solar

Great little book and interesting idea too, had patches of Solaris (which I've just read and how I found this dark, grim, but beautiful tale) the shinning and 2001. It's a very simple premise of a man who wakes up on an abandoned space ship with no memory, so it's not your typical sci fi space operas, lasers, aliens and new worlds, it all pretty much takes place in a world we can relate too right now, and what a dark, grim and twisted little world it is, so there is more emphasis here on the characters than the science fiction world they are in. Some really great twists and turns too, some of which I had no idea were coming and pretty shocking lol But I couldn't stop reading onwards or put this book down once I started, so the writer must be doing something right here. My only real issues were with the ending, which is why I only give this 4 stars. Well done though for a new writer.
