An interesting, engaging, and wonderful read from start to finish. I enjoyed learning about how Tom got his acting career going and how Zita came along at just the right time to help him learn the profession. Some parts made me laugh and others made me concerned - he was in a tough spot and young, and Zita needed a lot of care. The parts about her manuscript and novel were heartbreaking and yet gave a clear indication of what is motivating him to get this book out there. Good luck to him, and Zita, After the End...!

I loved this book. I understand the need for the background and the title was very appropriate. I feel like I got to know Zita through Tom's eyes and also the predicament he got himself into with her. It really moved along at a fast pace and that was perfectly appropriate for this kind of memoir.
Overall, it was very engaging, somewhat funny at times, mystical, spiritually-oriented, and down-to-earth. It should be a great book for all, but especially those trying to break into the acting profession, and those who want to understand the generational culture of old-school Hollywood stardom.
