Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
"The Hagues have created one adorable bear for every letter of the alphabet and describe each teddy's attributes in lilting rhyme and resplendent pictures....Twenty-six bits of whimsy for bear devotees of all ages."—Booklist, starred review

"Through lyrical rhyme and visual sense, the Hagues have created a delightful bear menagerie in Alphabears. Each letter of the alphabet is introduced through a special teddy bear, whose unique qualities are described in rhyme. Each illustration is framed in white above the large-print text. A treasure for family reading and teddy-bear lovers everywhere!"—School Library Journal

    A standout book

As an artist and mother who reads with my children quite often I have to say that this is my favorite among all of my daughters books. My daughter and I never tire of reading Alphabears and enjoying the wonderful illustrations. My 4 year old loves it so much that she can recite the pages word for word from memory. It is a book to treasure.
