This is such an awesome book!! I cant wait for the second one to come out! This book was well written and easy to want to read. I loved it!! It took me 2 hours to finish it. Now the technology was a bit out there but it was cool. If such an academy did exist... Well use your imagination.

    Ah-Mazing!!

As the first in the "Alpha Series", this book has the best of everything from the previous series "The Clique,"I fact, this book is almost like the clique on steroids! With a heavy Dose of suspense, a dash of drama, and a whole lotta Alpha-ness, This is the perfect book for anyone 12 and up who loves The Clique series. This unforgettable book gets a 5 out of 5 for excellence, writing, characters, and story; a 4 out of 5 for realism with the whole "Shira-City-in-the-middle-of-the-desert" theme, and is so engrossing, you won't be able to put it down! (I sure couldn't) My friend and I shared this book, and we both could not cease reading it! I'm impatiently anticipating the next book of the series, and i intend to love it! I hope you come to love it too!!

    go snobs!!!!

I know in this book Skye is the alpha, the rich snob. And just like Massie, kind of stuck up. And yet, i always find myself rooting for skye and Massie no matter what. This book like the clique series, is very realistic and awesome. Skye, Allie, and Charlie must fight their way to the top.

    Completley Shocked!

The Clique series its own little spin on what cliques are like. This time she is telling the story of Skye Hamilton the ultimate alpha and envy of OCD..........and even Massie Block?! The billionaire Shira Brazille is going farther than ever. This time she has even built her high-tech school of 100 lucky Alpha girls. Shira is taking out one by one a little at a time and boy does she have it good. She has secret cameras hidden all over the place. If she catches you doing something that she doesn't like...you better say your prayers cuz there you go sister. Unfortunatly Skye is surrounded by 99 girls who are exacly like her. I fell into this book immediatly almost as fast as I did with the Clique. It was stunning how well Lisi Harrison took you into the world of the future in Shira Brazille's School of Alphas. Sometimes when my mom would call my name I would jump because I was so caught up in Lisi Harrison's world. It all seemed surreal and immense to me that I would almost get freaked out (in a good way) :). Now I am sitting here bookless just waiting for Lisi Harrison's second Alphas book to come out in April.....well actually I'm not bookless I just meant that I'm not reading one of Lisi Harrison's books right now because I read all of them. :D! I'm actually reading a Nancy Drew book right now but you probably don't care so I think I'm gonna stop right now. Hope this was helpful! Love ya'll and keep on reading! :D!

    Really Good!

This is a great book! It's funny how when Skye was in the Clique books surrounded by betas and younger alphas she was so powerful but know you can see she doubts herself, too.

    ALPHAS

OMG this is a great book. Even thought I have only read 100 pages it has all ready has boys and backstabbing. Lisi Harrison just keeps coming with great ideas for her books. I Hope This series continues because it is a good book so far. The book is more about the 3 girls trying to keep their dirty little secrets and the beginning of their journeys as Alphas.

    Serious-leh ehmuhgud!!!!

Totally an awesome awesome book. I am excited for the second to come also but hopefully it won't leave on a cliffhanger...I luh-ved it soo much just as much as the clique and i thought it was soo cool the school was soo futuristic and unbelievable. Theres also something Lisi, the author does that makes the clique and the new Alphas seires so alluring..she decribes in a way that makes the books so believable and i love that she does that and how she mentions HADs (hopes and dreams) because she tells a lesson buried deep within the drama, deuds, feuds and attitudes.. The Alphas series will no doubt become a successful Alpha ;)
