Overview

A year after having her wedding called off by her fiancé, Amanda decides it is finally time to give sex another go. But when she decides to try and pick up a stranger, she has a chance encounter with a man she never expected to run into... Her ex's brother.

Trent has had a crush on Amanda for years. When he sees her at a local bar, she makes him an offer he can't refuse: a night of wild sex, no strings attached. Will he give her what she wants?

Approximate Length: 5,000 Words (A Short Story)

CONTENT WARNING: Includes explicit sex scenes. Intended for those 18+ only!

STEAMY EXCERPT:

"A pretty girl like you only drinks whiskey like that when she wants one thing," a deep growl whispered in her ear.

She turned around quickly to see who was standing behind her. Once she realized where the voice had come from, her mouth dropped open in shock. "Wow, Trent. I didn't expect…"

"Don't look so surprised to see me," he interrupted, a wicked grin turning up at the corners of his mouth.

Colin was Trent's older brother by a little more than a year. However, in the several years she had gotten to know them, Amanda realized that the pair could not have been more different.

Where Trent stood above six feet tall, Colin was at least four inches shorter than his younger brother. While Colin was busy working on becoming the next Fortune 500 CEO, Trent preferred racing fast cars and pure adrenaline.

Where Colin was supposed to be the safe bet for marriage material, Trent was supposed to be the one to love 'em and leave 'em. So much for that.

Of course, Trent had also been the better looking of the two. Amanda could count several encounters with Colin where she had closed her eyes and fantasized about his younger brother doing naughty things to her body.

The wheels began to turn in Amanda's head. Perhaps going out tonight to find someone to fuck wasn't such a bad idea, especially now that she'd run into Trent. Plus, flirting with a man she practically already knew could turn out to be fun. Especially one that she had been dying to see naked from the moment she met him.

"Actually," she said, touching his arm playfully and leaning over to show off cleavage unhidden by the dress' low-cut neckline. "You are absolutely right. Why don't you sit down and let me buy you a drink."

A grin of pure male appreciation spread across Trent's face. "No need to get me drunk, honey. Just tell me what a girl like you is doing out way after her bedtime and we can talk."

Amanda scowled. Was she really that easy to read?

"What makes you think there is a reason why I'm out at a bar on a Friday night?"

Trent pursed his lips for a moment before roaring with laughter. "Listen, I know what you are after. A dress like that wouldn't be at a place like this unless you were looking to get laid." He leaned in close again, his breath warm against her ear. "So, go ahead and ask."

Amanda sighed. As she saw it, she had two options. She could spend another hour trying to play coy before she asked him back to her apartment. Or, she could just flat out ask.

"I can't believe I'm doing this," she muttered under her breath, too low for him to hear in the crowded bar. Batting her eyelashes and flashing a coy smile, she looked up at him. "Trent, will you come back to my place and have wild sex with me?"

He planted a smoldering kiss on her lips, the kind that shook her to her core and left her wanting more. "I thought you'd never ask."

I really enjoyed reading this book. This is the first time I've read anything by this author. I was really drawn into the book.

The main person in the book, Amanda, has been left at the alter and it's been a year and still she has not date. On the one year anniversary, she goes out and ends up hooking up with the little brother. Is this by accident or not???

I would recommend this book to others.
