Meet the Author

John N. Frank has more than 35 years experience as a professional journalist. He's served as editor of National Provisioner magazine, covering the meat, poultry and seafood sectors; as editor of Beverage Industry magazine; as Midwest Bureau Chief for PRWeek magazine, writing about food and beverage company marketing and public relations campaigns; and as editorial director of Marketing News, PLBuyer magazine and Perishables Buyer magazine. Earlier in his career, he wrote about the food and farming sectors for Business Week.

He holds a masters degree from Northwestern University, a bachelors degree from Marquette University and attended Xavier High School in New York City, one of the oldest Catholic prep schools in the country. Born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., he now lives in Evanston, Ill.
