Basically tells the story of very significant events in a couple's life through someone telling others a specific story. I can't describe it correct because that makes it sound uninteresting, but it is not. This book should appeal to conservatives, people with a military background, couples married for many years, lawyers, people with children, older people. I only have some of these criteria but I still liked. 3rd book I've read by this author so she has something that I like. I will go now and look for another book by her. My wife and I have different interests in books, but still I recommended to her that she read this, as I think we could both relate to some of this. Because the book is about long-term happiness and the people in the book are remarkably remarkable, you could this book is a romance (but not pulp romance).
