In the best-selling tradition of Kids Say the Darndest Things and Really Important Stuff My Kids Have Taught Me, this warm and funny book offers 147 truly wise parenting tips in the words and handwriting of kids who don't always know how to spell, but always know what they need.

If kids came with an instruction manual, this would be it -- a clever and poignant collection of suggestions, observations and reminders to parents from the experts themselves (kids 6-12).  Organized into three sections:  (Love and Caring, Family and Friends, and Guidance and Independence), these one- or two-line requests will bring a smile to your face, a lump to your throat, and a renewed sense of confidence that you can give your kids the love and support they deserve.

I get this for every baby shower!

I give this to anyone expecting a baby. It's advice in the actual handwriting of children to their parents, from "Let me get wet in the rain" to "Treat me like you treat your customers." Lots of wisdom -- good reminders for parents of children whatever their ages!

    Precious

Very touching and sweet. Love the way it is written using the children's handwriting, misspellings, and grammar. Perfect for a gift.

    Just what a parent needs

I found this book to be excellent! I would recommend this book to all people who interact with children not just parents. I couldn't put it down when I began reading. It was touching to hear children say what they really needed and wanted from the adults in thier lives. Their advice is so innocent and simple to do.

    Beautiful

I found this book by accident and bought it for my husband's daughter & husband as a gift from their 1 year old son. I wish this book had been around when I was raising my kids. It's beautiful, touched my heart and wanted to make me buy it for everyone...even those who didn't have children. It's so innocent and sincere. Everyone must have it.
