Great representation of a great band.

Though I'm not normally a fan of companies which, like Altissimo, recycle materials and take selections from many different recordings and time periods to produce endless numbers of albums for their markets, this CD does a great job in presenting one of the best marching bands "military and otherwise" from my home state. Based at the Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut, the band is well known especially to us and a great source of pride here. The selections are varied, there's something for those with both traditional and more modern tastes, including the piece that salutes I-95, a major highway in our state. All in all, a great showing of the music that makes up the proud tradition of the United States Coast Guard Band.
