Overview

Patrick Dennison is excited about the upcoming visit from his cousin Jake and Jake's wife Amanda to his ski resort. He didn't expect to take one look at Amanda's friend Tera Connolly and fall head over heels in lust.

Tera is recovering from a broken heart and isn't the least bit interested in getting involved with another man. That doesn't mean she fails to notice the sexy ski resort owner. A night in his arms is the perfect way to begin to heal.

She's hesitant when Amanda suggests a foursome with Jake and Patrick for Patrick's birthday. But an evening of sex with Patrick and Jake, plus the added pleasure of being intimate with Amanda, leads Tera to say yes. The foursome is amazing for Patrick, but alone time with Tera is even better. Somehow, he has to convince her to stay with him . . . not just for a few more days, but for a lifetime.

Reader Advisory: If you can't tell from the scrumptious description above, this story contains scenes of f/f and m/f/f/m interaction.

Reader Advisory: If you can’t tell from the scrumptious description above, this story contains scenes of f/f and m/f/f/m interaction. To find out what sexy surprise Jake and Patrick gave Amanda for her birthday last year, read The Birthday Gift!

Review: I actually enjoyed this story. Ms LaFleur packed a lot into 116 pages. There was an actual plot, character development, a romance and hot sex.

It may have been helpful to have read The Birthday Gift to get some back story on Jake, Patrick and Amanda. However, their menage story is recapped as Tera is introduced and the idea of a foursome is established. Tera and Amanda are old college buddies, Jake and Patrick are cousins and Amanda and Jake are married… and now the four of them are going to celebrate Patrick’s birthday with a bang!

While the big scene in this book is the foursome, the focus really is more about the romance of Tera and Patrick. Tera is recovering from a broken engagement and when she’s invited to a ski resort to spend a weekend with her best friend, she didn’t expect to be attracted to the owner. I actually found their story interesting and it could have been quite satisfying without the sex.

But the sex was there and it was hot. For those of you turned off by f/f action, there is some in this book. But there isn’t any m/m action, which would be quite weird since they are related. That said, Ms LaFleur was quite inventive in all that went on in that penthouse suite. I’ll admit to needing a little cooling down after reading this one.

I enjoyed the book and am curious enough to seek out more by Ms LaFleur and hope that they are just as satisfying. Well done.

    Wow

Wow. This book was great. Loved both leading characters. The heroine was fun and beautiful and the hero was magnificent. There was much more to this book than I thought there'd be. Fun and sexy read with lots of explicitly hot sex.@
