Allin is backed by a competent band playing Stooges-style riffs, and he himself is sometimes tuneful; this is enough to make the songs some of his best musical material. Amazingly enough, the violent hatred, sexual and psychological degradation, and staggering stupidity only hint at the heights or depths Allin would reach later.
