    Horrible book

Was there an editor for this book? There are countless grammatical and spelling errors. (ie: ....do to the fact...) I had to re-read things because it was so poorly written. I read countless repetitive sections (such as 4M people in the US suffer from....or, Alz moves into dementia....sections on the care for the caregiver, over and over again, all saying the same thing.). The book was horribly organized, repeating full sections. The info could have been organized into a 25 page book report by an 8th grader. It looked like this "book" was written by several authors, sometimes in first person sometimes not. Here is a quote from the book "In the last days, the patient will seem to feel better. In this instance, looks are deceiving, since the patient is preparing death. In some instances the patient may appear to hack up his or her guts before they pass" Seriously, this is in the book.I wouldn't even give this one star, but had to put a rating on to submit this review.

Easy to Navigate to Specific Alzheimer's Topic

I was looking for a book that would help me understand Alzheimer's disease. I like that it is easy to bounce to the chapters with info that you are specifically looking for. There are some fantastic facts in this Ebook that I had not read or even heard of before. I am reading almost everything I read these days in eBook format and this is the best organized eBook that I have read so far. The chapters cover most topics of the disease and then some so if you are looking for a book with the most comprehensive topics available this is a bargain and I most definitely recommend it.

Easy Reading About a Difficult Problem

I am in the beginning stages of an evaluation by my doctor for memory loss. My doctor's nurse had several books in eBook format about memory problems and Alzheimer's disease in the office on iPads. I found this book the easiest to navigate through and read and it has answered many of my questions. If you are looking for a book that covers any and all questions that you may have about Alzheimer's this is a great place to start. The book does not go into great depth on many topic areas but it does give you enough information so that you at least know what it is you do not know.

    Amazing Nook Book

Alzheimers Disease runs in my family. I have been researching this illness and trying to understand what causes it, how it can be prevented and how it is eventually treated. This book is great. All the information is there and then some. The specific information is easy to get to but I found that I read the book, and re-read the book from start to finish. Most books do not devote much time to the causes and prevention of Alzheimers disease but this book does. I was happy and amazed to find all the information that I wanted in a book that was both affordable and complete.

    Great Ebook - Difficult Disease

My mother has just been diagnosed with Alheimers Disease and I have been trying to read everything that I can about this topic. This book is up to date and written in a compassionate and hopeful tone. The Ebook is broken down into easy to read sections and, in my opinion, covers the most important topics related to this devestating disease. I will be reading more books about Alzheimers as I would like to be continually informed on what to expect with regards to my mother's condition but for know this Ebook has proved to be the most useful book that I have read.

    The Best Book Ever!!

I am being evaluated by a Neurologist for possible Alzheimers Disease. My ability to read long and complicated material is not what it used to be and I am grateful to have found this book that I could read on the Nook that my grandchildren gave me for my birthday. Not everything that I read on the Nook is easy for me but this book is organized so well and the chapters are so easy to get to that this has been a total success for me.
