Native to North Carolina, Kaitlan C. Farrior, is an emerging literary sensation and independent author.

She created and self-published her debut poetry collection, "Poems By The Overthinker."

From the dedication to the end of the book, I was engaged as I started reading I was looking for Farrior's usual cadence, but she has grown as an author and poet. This wonderful exceptionally raw and I've enjoyed every single part of it. My favorite poems are definitely am I not supposed to go and am I not supposed to be resilient? My favorite line for sure was " am I not meant to shed my own skin, to let new possibilities begin?"

Am I not by KC Farrior is a collection of motivational inspirational short poems covering different aspects of mindset for women one of my favorite things. Am I supposed to sulk in the shoulda, woulda, coulda been? Am I supposed to retreat because the storm was too much to handle? If I never came out to see how it really was, I would have never know what I coulda been today. So once again, am I supposed to be proud of myself?
