    I loved it!

I loved the samples I heard. I am very familiar with these older songs and they were done in a mood appropriate for a low-key cocktail party, a quiet time or whenever. Don't think it is a failure at all. I don't think a singer has to do an entirely new "take" on something for it to be a success. It sounds great.
