Meet the Author

Philip Francis Nowlan (1888-1940) was American pulp writer, best known for creating the character of Anthony "Buck" Rogers. Buck Rogers first appeared in the pulp magazine AMAZING STORIES in 1928 and was subsequently serialized in comic books, film, and a television series from 1980-81.

    This is not the TV Buck Rogers!!!

    This is a much more believable story than any you've likely read. While it never quite explains satisfactorily how Buck froze, it takes him through adventures that you could see really happening. A great read.
