I honestly, have never read a Luna book. In middle school, I have heard nothing but praise for Luna from my classmates. It was at the end of 2011, when this oel manga hit my local shelves, and, mesmerized by the beautiful art, I picked it up. At first, I did not process anything I read. All I saw was the wonderful artwork, the artist has great control over anatomy and proportions and the backgrounds really give it a sense of setting. But the second time around, I registered every wordy speech bubble in the volume and even went on to the second volume. Frankly speaking, the plot and art is better than hundreds of published manga in Japan. The plot is simple and straightfoward but the STORY is very well executed. After all, this IS written by the same writers for Kim Possible. JENNIFER is done in, as far as my knowledge goes, a much more serious tone than the main series. But I ca see the aspects are similar, both focus on the agents' personal progress: tracking their humane growth, analyzing their social lives, and so forth. It is very HUMAN. Even though Jennifer might be strict and stern in the main timeline as master control, you read a volume of A.A. Jennifer, and you know why. Although I believe this can be stretched out more because there's plenty of material, I'm reminded that this is only a prequel and that the main timeline has four or five volumes released as of now.

The Pages on this book are all cut off at the bottom making this book impossible to read. Tried it on my Nook 1st edition and Nook for PC. Same problem.

Overview
Before Luna’s hard-as-nails boss known simply as "Control" ever became a control agent, Jennifer Kajiwara was once a rookie herself. From Jennifer’s freshman year in the Agency as a late teen, through her struggles with her parents and her grueling training, to her first dangerous mission as a field agent (and first big romance!), being a young secret agent is never easy.Jennifer must learn the hard way how to play the deadly spy games that make her such a competent control agent years hence, as she becomes embroiled in a secret war full of intrigue, betrayal and deadly consequences. This is the first volume of a two-volume spin-off that will tie ...
