I've been a spidey fan for 25 years going on 30. I can remember getting up early before school to watch old 60's cartoons on weekday mornings at 6am just to watch spidey.
This is a great assemblage of stories in chronological order giving you insight to the birth of the modern Superhero. Yeah there's Batman, Superman etc but Spidey took the concept and flipped it then the others followed. Writing by Stan Less was solid and you got jokes from the 60's and 70's (if you lived it or at least had some vague reference), original ads placed in the book which is fun to observe.
Price wise I have to say its a solid investment for a long read. I read faster than most and it still took me over a month to read the book. So time wise I definitely got my return for 100-
I hope Marvel does more books like this as these are a staple to any true collection.
