Meet the Author

Jolyn Palliata writes romance for adults and young adults alike, and has dabbled in just about every genre there is (paranormal being her favorite). By day she’s a technical trainer, and by night, an author and editor. All the time in between, you'll find her with her nose in a book (or eReader, as it were) and/or playing on Goodreads.

As a reader, Jolyn enjoys romance of all types. No sub-genre has proven to be a hard limit (yet), but she doesn’t do angst well, though she likes to delude herself into believing she’s getting better with it. (Uh-huh. Right.) She’s also a book hoarder who gets buyer's remorse after a marathon book buying spree on various eBook stores and publisher sites. This happens more often than she cares to admit, hence the Twitter name BookLoversGuilt.

For more information, please visit her website at www.JolynPalliata.com, or you can contact her directly at info.JolynPalliata(at)gmail(dot)com. You can also find her on Facebook or Goodreads. She loves interacting with her readers, or simply chatting about who’s reading what.

This was a good book. It is great for a romantic such as myself.

This was a good book. It is great for a romantic such as myself. I couldn't wait to turn the page to read what came next and I'm excited for the next book in the trilogy to come out!

Lexi is a high school senior who has not dated anyone, and not for lack of her friends trying. She just hasn't been interested in anyone enough. That is until that fateful day when she was walking past the schools' office and saw him. Dex. He is the most gorgeous man she has ever laid her eyes on. Although Lexi is trying to talk herself out of liking him, because really, how could a guy on that level be in any way interested in her, she finds that most of her time is spent thinking of him anyway. As the day went on Lexi soon discovers she has a few classes with this new heart throb. But whenever he is near, she feels funny and sees images in her head. Is she going crazy? Nah, what crazy person thinks they are crazy... She is trying to avoid Dez, hoping the weird feelings and images go away soon. Lexi is startled when Dez approaches her and TALKS TO HER! Only, he asks about what she had just drawn, and she can barley draw a stick figure. Her drawing is very detailed with a volcano and a little village at the bottom.
As time passes her and Dez grow closer and the images grow stronger.
What is it about Dez that is making these things happen to her. She knows he is hiding something, but she can't figure out what. One thing she does know though, is that she loves Dez with all of her soul. But is that enough?

Lexi is trying to recover after an accident which took her best

Lexi is trying to recover after an accident which took her best friend's life and almost took her's. She is filled grief and guilt until her friend comes to her in her dreams to set her free. With the help of family and friends Lexi is getting her life back on track. She meets Des and is instantly attracted to him. Des tells her they are soul mates.

This story grabbed my attention from the beginning. The author gives us a very elaborate and detailed story about soul mates and past lives.I enjoyed this story but at times I became overwhelmed with the details.

    Must Read - Excellent

Lexi survives a horrible accident, her best friend is not so lucky. After trying to deal with her grief with the help of her friends and family, her life starts to get back on track when she meets Dez, a new guy at school. He has the most beautiful eyes she has ever seen, she can’t help but gaze into them. She seems to have so much in common with Dez it is almost unbelievable. Then Lexi starts to have the most vivid dreams that seem to drag her back in time and into the arms of a very familiar stranger, Dez. Lexi shares her dreams with him and he changes her world forever with two simple words. Soul Mates.

Lexi feels so safe with Dez, things have never been better, but lingering in the shadows in something evil. Something that is a threat to her very existence and to a love she knows has transcended through time.

    Dollycas’s Thoughts

Hold on to your seats because I am surprised as you are, I LOVED this story.

It is beautifully written and went in a direction I didn’t truly expect. I know the book cover says Entwined Souls but it was surprising to me where the author takes us. I have to be careful because part of the charm of this book is the surprises.

These high school age characters wormed their way right into my heart and wouldn’t let go. The range of emotions so vast and vivid. The setting, here in Wisconsin, places a native will recognize, even though the exact place in not named added to my enjoyment. I also loved the kitty in the story. One particular part had me laughing out loud.

I do not usually read young adult or much paranormal but it is books like this that have me changing my reading comfort level. If you are fan of these genres this a book to pick up today. If like me you are usually not comfortable in those areas this is the book and the author that will have you second guessing yourself. I am calling this one a must read and a perfect escape!!!

If you are a believer of soul mates then you will love this stor

If you are a believer of soul mates then you will love this story. It was a really good YA Read. The characters were true to their age and the story flowed nicely. There was a point where Lexi's character kind of stalled when she was going though her depression of being left. I also would have liked to know more about Tobias and his motives but I think that was left to be told in the next book. Other than that it was great. Its a great concept of life after death and keeping certain souls with you. I would recommend this to older young adults only because there are some steamy scenes in the book but nothing to far. I look forward to the next book.

    AMAZING!

Wow this book was AMAZING! The soulmate plot is always my favorite! If you like this book you need to read Significance by Shelly Crane. This book was not mushy romance but sweet and tender that everyone wishs they had. I loved Dez with his caring protective nature and even when he was worried he was still adorable! The steamy moments between Lexi and Dez were awesome and they had some really touching moments to. I have to admit though I saw most of the things coming like with Jayson and Brit and Neko. I loved Neko and I burst out laughing in so many parts I was cry! All in all this book was fantastic and a must read!
