    Not working for me

I'm sorry but book 2 really didn't work for me. I enjoyed Metamorphisis but the authors decision to for Scarlett to be so immature and i don't see whats supposedly so beautiful about her on the inside doesn't make me want to finish this series. Plus its ridiculous that this is being dragged out. Just write one completed story instead of 3 short ones spread out and charging way to much. There is no question who Scarlett wants to be with and that is Ash. It's always been him since the moment she met him but instead of an interesting story we are dragged through a young, selfish girls chance to screw around. Be young and live but i hate girls who have to be in a relationship and its always someone else fault. I know its just a book but Scarlett is not a likeable character to me.

I have to say that I loved Metamorphosis but I wasn't a fan of this book.  I am okay with the love triangle story but this one was ridiculous.  I hate that Scarlett just fell right back into a relationship with Mason like nothing happened.  Then when something goes wrong, she gets together with ANOTHER guy.  Ugh!!  I couldn't stand her character in this book.  She is immature and ridiculous.  She claims Ash is her soul mate yet loves Mason too.  What?? Please, just make up your mind!  This story is just beyond  ridiculous.  I think I will skip the third installment if the entire story is going to be about her going back and forth between men!

    Ugh.... really??

Authors cant seem to write stories without it becoming a trilogy or a series.... i love them, dont get me wrong- BUT when the second book doesnt live up to the first its a let down.... and now to wait months to see how the author decides to wrap it up.... no thanks!

    Thoughts--

Okay, so I rarely give reviews. But I just need to elaborate how I feel about this book. Reading this book, I was hooked-- I couldn't put it down. I loved how the author interpreted songs and books we all must have heard or read in a point in time. I had a deep connection with the characters. I got them. Although i had trouble with Scarrletts P.O.V. I felt a little uncomfortable reading how she basically juggled two mens feelings. When things go bad with one of the men, she runs away. It just confuses me. I would think the author would give the main character a little self respect, and not make her seem like a.... tart.

Overall, the book was good. This is my opinion, and don't let this review prevent you from reading this book.

    3 1/2 stars
Scarlett reappears 8 months after her sudden disappearance with a public appology and a reconnection to one man from her past leaving the othe flailing. In this one, we see the choice Scarlett made with Mason and Ash. She's been through a lot in her very short adult life so far - falling in love with two men, finding her own independence, dealing with the death of her friend, not to mention school. She's done a lot in her time away to find herself and make herself stronger. While Scarlett makes the choice she believes is best for her with Mason, she quickly learns of truths being hidden after demanding total honesty. His band is moving to another city and she believes that the relationship will be difficult but can withstand the distance. The move takes place, and their contact is constant in the beginning. One he starts getting busy with the band, feelings of adandondonment start creeping their way back in. The manager that wants Mason back in her bed doesn't make things any easier and ultimately fuels distrust and perceived impropriety. Scarlett ultimately leans on Max - her now best friend for support and they end up making a mistake that not many would be able to come back from. With no one to rely on, Scarlett contacts Ash for support and friendship to help her see her way through the disaster and be able to find her own footing again. I've loved Ash from the very beginning and hope that they can find their way together. He has been a solid friend to her in every way. His love for her actually jumps off of the pages. The book ends with  one hell of a disaster that would have destroyed Scarlett a year before. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out in Euphoria. I highly recommend this series.

    Hot emotional whip lash!

Good book. Loved the story. Can't wait for the third installment. I cannot decide Ash or Mase!?!?!?! Ash seems to offer the mature forever kind of love while Mase offers the young intense type of love. Can you love two people at the same time?
Uuummmm.... can I just say, the motorcycle/plane scene...HOT

Stay tuned to see what the future holds.
