I enjoyed this collection very much. There are five stories here, which are, for the most part, literary and mainstream rather than genre. The title of the whole collection is very much an organizing principle for all the stories. They are about people reaching a "crossroads" in their life, when new opportunities open up, or old ones close down. But you know in each one that a change is coming.
