Tom Tierney continues with his American Family Paper Dolls series with a representation of the fashions during the Federal Period. The illustrations are wonderful and Tierney depicts the fashions of working-class farmers to upper middle-class. The one draw back to this volume is a lack of chronology for the clothing that Tierney usually presents in his other works. This volume is highly recommended for living history historians and fashion historians. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
