Shadows in the Glasshouse is a great history mystery

Merry was taken away from her sister and served as a indentured servant in the New World. When she was in America, she worked at the glasshouse. On some nights she would find Master Webbe going to the glasshouse and destroying the glass. I liked this book because it had some action in it. This book is better for girls than it is for boys.

Shadows in the Glasshouse is a great mystery!

Merry Shipman,a servent, travled from England to Americia. She is told to work at a glasshouse with her only friends Anglo and Franze, and there they try to make a clear glass called cristallo. But,someone is breaking the glass, and they don't know who! Also,Merry wants to find her sister,Margret, who she was taken away from a long time ago. I would recammend this book for children nine and up.I really liked this book because it showed what life was like in the 1600's.

the second best book in the world

This is a suspensful, history mystery. Merry was taken away from sister after her parents died. She was sent to America to be an indentured servant for five years. while on the boat she she met a friend that helpedher later on. After being in America for several days, she saw her owner, Captian Norton, who was murdered in his own home. The glasshose was being wrecked by someone she knew. I liked this book very muchexept for the kidnaping. I think kids 8+ could read it.
