Well written and popular with students.

The text was used in an intensive one day a week Government program, with 5 hour long classes, at a small liberal arts college for women. The writing style is clear and easy to read, the charts are useful for students, and the book contains helpful discussion scenarios entitled: 'What if', 'e-mocracy', and 'ethical issues'. Important terms are definied in bold in margins for easy access. Relevant examples are used throughout. Chapter summaries are well constructed and were helpful to students.Teacher support materials are well done and the test bank may be the best we have used; the questions are relevant and well designed. Students and instructors give this text very high ratings.
