    Could have been better

I've been a fan of this series since vol 1 and I have to say it's a little disappointing. I was expecting to see the characters from the previous issues, but instead we get a side story and the other half is filled with random stories involving vampires at random points in history with less than impressive art work. But with all they said I did enjoy the first half kind of like a lead up to vol 7 and would still recommend it.

With virtually no text, this graphic novel/comic series tells tales of vampires as if in films, or perhaps this is their history.

The illustrations are artistic and heavily detailed which adds to character development, story, and scene development.

As there is no dialogue and virtually no text, it is highly intriguing, yet an effective, narrative told through this series of pictures/illustrations.

    Overall, an intriguing read.
