    A shame.

Ms. Bayarr is a good writer but when she starts selling chapters of a book to make it more expensive, it is wrong. I bought the four books to this set, it took me less than 2 hours to read all four books. If you want expensive books this is the ones you need to buy. I will not support Ms. Bayarr any longer.

I have always loved Samantha Bayarr's books. This book is no exception. :)

This is the first book in this series and the main characters are Bailey, Luke and Hannah. Bailey is an Englischer trying to prove to her father that she can take care of the orchard and take over the farm. Luke, his sister Hannah, and their father reside at the farm and take care of the up keep.

I really enjoyed this introduction to the series and can't wait to read the next volume.

Wow, I loved this Amish House first volume in the series. When I started reading it I did not want to put it down. Samantha draws you in right from the start. Bailey is at her late great aunt's apple orchard farm in the heart of the Amish country. Her aunt passed away five years ago.. She loved the farm. Her dad made her an offer that he would sign the deed to the farm over to her if she could bring the apple orchard in this year by herself. She is living in the cottage by the Goose Pond. There is another Amish family living in the house. Bailey is having trouble with the ornery mule .He stepped on her foot and would not move. The Amish farmer's son Lucas comes by and helps her with the mule. Now Bailey is attracted to Luke and she don't need this if she is to get her apples in. Luke want to help her get the apples in , but she want accept his help and tells him about her deal with her dad. Luke is liking what is is seeing of this Englischer , but she is stubborn. He tells her it is no way she can get the apples in by herself. Her foot is hurt from the mule and she may not be able to use it for a day or two. Bailey has gotten to be real good friends with Luke's sister Hannah . She comes over and sees Bailey a lot. What will happen, will Bailey get her apples in by herself on time? What happens between Bailey and Luke? I guess we will have to read the next volume to find out. I gave this book a 5 star because it was good. I was given a copy of this book by the author for an honest review.
