Book Two of Jacob's Daughter series

NOW on PAPERBACK too!

Twenty-five-year-old LILLIAN STOLTZFUS is living in the shadow of her deceased brother. When her dad gives her the gift of land that would normally go to the eldest son, it includes a bakery he built as an offering to a suitor for her. No one wants marriage for Lillian more than she wants it for herself, but at twenty-five, she fears she will end up a spinster if Seth never returns her secret feelings for him.

Thirty-year-old SETH MILLER is loaded down with the responsibility of caring for an overbearing father. His loyalty to his father's farm has caused him to put his own needs on hold his entire adult life. Being secretly in love with Lillian for many months, he finds it difficult to speak to her because he lacks the confidence having never dated before.

Will the contents of an old spice box change everything for both of them? Or are they destined to admire each other from afar indefinitely?

Contains a sneak peek of two chapters of A Sheriff's Legacy (Christian, Historical Romance)

    I Also Recommend:

    Awesome sequel

Now that I've read the first two in this series, I am eager to see what happens next. Waiting for the next book is NOT going to be easy!
This is such a sweet story.
I recommend this book all Amish romance fans, but read Jacob's Daughter first.

    I Also Recommend:

    Sweet and romantic

Though this is book two in the series, it had a separate set of love-birds in this one, which I like. I also liked how the author incorporated the main characters from the last book and made them a fairly big part of the new couple's love story.
I can't wait to see how this story progresses. I'm very much looking forward to the next in this series.
I also recommend A Sheriff's Legacy by Miss Samantha Bayarr.

    Very sweet

What a great series this is. Each book has a different theme, but they go together with some of the same characters. I recommend this to all Amish fiction readers.

    Disappointed

Have read worse stories but expected this to be better due to raving reviews...sorry I bought the entire series...felt I was reading the works of a 16 yr old doing a story assignment for school.

    more from this reviewer

    Very good read

Sweet, well written book about the complex dating life of an Amish couple. Not a very long book for those who don't want to sit down to a huge novel. If you like the Amish culture or would like a brief glimpse in this is a good book for you. It may be fictional but it holds true to the Amish traditional way of life and love. I hope that the author writes more in this Amish series.

    Excellent sequel!

As follow-up book to "Jacob's Daughter," this continues to be a great Amish story, but again much too short!
