About the Author

Paul Jackson Jr., retired physician and Vietnam veteran,
earned a medical degree from the University of Tennessee Medical
School. Internship at Charity Hospital, New Orleans, was followed by induction into the US Navy and service with the Marines in
Vietnam from 1967 to 1968. Jackson obtained residency training in OB-GYN and was on the LSU service from 1969 to 1972. He also practiced medicine in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and now lives in Houston.
