    Typical 'good old boy' lack of research and/or confusion with technology

    I purchased this book to find a cartridge to use (factory load) for a friend. What I found was unbelievable. 22 caliber bullets with a ballistic coefficient of .412!? I also found that Nosler makes 180gr. Partitions that range from .354 to .585!? In truth they do make one @.361 and one @.474. There are an unbelievale amount of typos that I'm positive would only serve to confuse the casual user and conceivably result in wounded game as the ballistics quoted frequently have no resemblance to reality. Then of course there are the incomprehensible inclusions vs. the exclusions. VERY unhappy with this purchase. P.S. I could go on for quite some time on this books' shortcomings.

    Factory Ballistics and Some info on Cartridge Selection

    This book is a great reference tool for anyone looking to buy a firearm and are unsure of the performance of a specific caliber/load out to 500yds. There is not much info on the subject of ballistics, but enough to get by. Overall, a great book for looking up factory ballistics data on all available ammo with some articles on recommended caliber selection for specific game and terrain.
