    "Usually available in 1-2 weeks" = NOT TRUE

    I ordered this through B&N since it seemed like they could get this title quicker that everyone else, but man was I wrong. It was been almost 4 weeks since I placed the order, and the expected shipping date is still another week away from today. I've heard the book is awesome, and I can't wait to read it. Just wanted to inform others that the B&N shipping is longer that advertised.

    I'd love to review the content, if I'd ever actually receive the book. . . .

    I ordered this item back in March and was disappointed the first time the 'expected ship date' came and went and was then updated to late May. It's now the last day of July and I've yet to receive either the item, or a satisfactory response, from B & N. Super disappointed; bet I'd really like the book.

    @frodo9fingers

    I am having the same problem. I order this book as well as Volume 2. I ordered them on May 8th, 2010. I received Volume 2, but I had to confirm that I still wanted Volume 1 because it was past the original expected shipping date. Now it says June 21 before it will be available.

    I'm hoping to get this soon. I couldn't help myself and I started reading Volume 2, but I'm a little lost. I thought I would confirm frodo9fingers' post on the availability of Volume 1.

    more from this reviewer

    Got me into comic books

    My boyfriend introduced me to this band that I thought, at the time, was strange. Became addicted to their music but for a year or so I never truly understood what it all meant. Found out about "The Amory Wars" and knew I had to read them just to make sense of all this. Songs like the "Devil In Jersey City" I will never be able to listen to the same way again. Claudio Sanchez is purely amazing. He deserves more credit but mainstream would destory the marvel of his work and he's too modest to admit it.

    Great for Co&Ca fans

    Every album Coheed and Cambria makes is based is the story line of The Amory Wars. This particular volume matches up with part of "The Second Stage Turbine Blade" cd. As a Co&Ca fan, I was impressed immediately. The story is great and is easy to follow. I don't know how it will translate to non-fans, but I recommend this graphic to everyone. It's a fun fast read.
