This is a really pretty book and if you are an intermediate sewer who really wants to make really cool bags and clutches and a super cool duvut cover you are in luck. I like Amy Butlers fabrics but most of the projects did not interest me. I have owned the book for a year and made not one thing out of it...either to advanced or just not me. There are some great cushions in here....this is not really an apparel sewing book but a cool home decor but only is you are kind of modern and eclectic. I wish I could give it to someone who would appreciate the book.

I recently picked up sewing as a new hobby. I had just completed a weekend tote bag class and was ready to venture on to other project ideas. I am so glad that i found this book. Amy Butler in Stitches is the perfect DIY book on how to make useful but very cute items (aprons, document duvet, pillows...). The instructions are easy to follow as well. Highly recommended.

I'm a relatively new sewer (though have been knitting for 10 years) and I love the patterns in this book. They're definitely easy to understand and I feel like they're approachable as well. Looking forward to making many crafts and looking for other Amy Butler books in the future.

If you like to sew, you MUST own this book. The fabrics and patterns will inspire you - they're modern and chic, unlike most things you'll find at a fabric store. Amy Butler is brilliant.

I love the book! It has so many fun projects in it, however, I wouldn't reccommend the NOOK version. If you're actually planning on making some of the projects, you'll need the patterns contained in the regular version of the book. I ended up wasting money on the NOOK version only to have to purchase the other version as well. I've had a lot of fun with the projects though!
