Overview

The phenomenon that began with A Demon's Promise continues in Book 2 of the Soul Savers series.

Change is coming.

Having learned to cope with her grief, Alexis has settled into a quiet and predictable life. Until now, when a vampire appears in her room, ordering her to stop exposing his secrets in her blockbuster books or he'll come for her family. Although the threat feels uncannily real, it has to be a dream. Because monsters may exist, but vampires do not.

Change is inevitable.

Erratic thoughts suddenly consume Alexis's mind, inexplicable impulses overcome her body, and her evil inheritance simmers in her soul. She begins to question her sanity, because what she sees couldn't possibly be real. Like the vampire who keeps threatening her.

Change is here.

But Alexis discovers there's a fine line between fact and fiction . . . and between insanity and reality. Especially while going through the Ang'dora. She's changing, and just in time. The enemy has exploded in a fit of rage, targeting her and her family.

In the transformation that gifts her with supernatural powers, not even she knows which will prevail in the battle for her soul--the goodness she was born into or the evil that flows in her blood. And the consequences for everyone she loves prove to be unimaginable.

If you fell in love with Alexis and Tristen in Promise then Purpose will leave you wanting more. The book starts off a little slow but the information is needed to understand Alexis's pain and hurt when Tristen leaves. Once the story started to pick up I could not put it down, even with two jobs, a house, and family to maintain. The writer leaves you wanting more and with the concluaion of Purpose I really cannot waite to see if there is going to be another installment to this series.....Loved it

So I read the first one in this series and fell in love with the story line and plot. When that one was finished, I automatically went and bought this one. I wanted to know what happened to the kid and Tristian, and boy was I in a shock. This is full of love, tragedy, and happiness. I love this series and want to read the third in the series.

This second book in the series made me want to cry with Alexis. I 100% felt her despair in losing Tristan. I was heartbroken for her. I felt badly for Dorian as well. How sad for a child to have to watch his mom be heartbroken. I loved how Alexis told Dorian stories of Tristan so he would know as much about his dad as possible. I won't say much else since I don't want to spoil the story for others, but suffice it to say this book was packed with adventure and emotion. It was great. I was afraid it wouldn't be as good as the first, but it really was. Highly recommend!
