I thoroughly enjoyed this. Solid but not overbearing sci-fi. Thought the idea was clever and well executed. Kudos to the author, and thanks for making this free!

Nice short story. Interesting storyline but it kinda drifted a bit. Good characters.

I enjoyed the story. The premise was very interesting and the story development were good The "surprise" later in the story didn't add that much - but it didn't really hurt anything either. The descriptions were a bit lacking in places, and I found some scenes hard to follow as a result - but I have no regrets and would recommend it to others

This book was a pretty good read. It could have done with a bit more backstory on the history of the visitors. Perhaps holo projections from the oracles or non-functiional technological remnants to hint at the pasrlt. I also would have liked more scnenes involving the taint. Overall though a good read though.
