This is the book I've liked the least in the series. The others I've had trouble putting down, but this one I've had trouble picking up. It has all the usual stuff but it just feels forced, as if the author was just following a recipe and nothing else.

Could have been better. Some slow spots. Still love Ben Hood.

All of Mr. Lindsay's books are packed with action. With an ex-cop, VIP bodyguard tripping over bad guys at each assignment and a cast of interesting personalities to interact with, all of his books are highly entertaining. I even went out and bought three Cree flashlights. READ THE BOOK!

Lindsay has another winner in this one set in Alice Springs. He has rapidly become my favorite author and Ben Hood one of my favorite characters. You know where you stand with Hood and it had better be on the right side of the law. This is Lindsay's best since Black Mountain Affair. Read a Drew Lindsay book anytime you can.

An Explosive Affair is another great ben Hood Thriller. It is an interesting story set in Central Australia and features Aboriginal culture. The book is well researched and the author weaves an exciting story that keeps you guessing to the end. I thoroughly recommend this novel to anyone wanting an exciting read with real substance.
