About the Author

Eileen C. Burke-Sullivan joined Creighton University as a full-time faculty member in the Theology Department in 2003. During her tenure, she served as the Director of the Master of Arts in Ministry Program and the Director of the Christian Spirituality Programs. She was also the inaugural chairholder of the Barbara Reardon Heaney Chair in Pastoral Liturgical Theology and the Vice President of the Division of Mission and Ministry for Creighton University. 

Dr. Eileen C. Burke-Sullivan passed away in November 2024. Her extensive career in theology and ministry has left a lasting impact on the institution and its students, fostering a deep appreciation for Ignatian spirituality and Christian formation.
