Overview

Marie is beautiful, smart, and convinced no one can see her true purpose at Garret Richardson’s office. Garret is one of the most successful hedge fund managers, and his strategies could be worth millions. Marie has been hired to redecorate his office. Her position as interior decorator should put her in the perfect position for corporate espionage.

Her task is simple. Sneak into Garret’s office and use a flash drive to download his hard drive.

On her chosen night, she makes it all the way to his office and even gets the drive. Right as she’s coming out, he’s waiting for her. Garret knew full well why she tried so hard to get this position. Now that she has committed a major felony, he has an offer for her.

One of his clients is a technology company which works in behavioral modification. They have a new collar; if Marie agrees to test it, he won’t go to the police. Knowing she committed a major crime, Marie really has no choice but to agree.

She allows him to wrap the collar around his neck. Not only that, he insists on locking it into place. With few options, Marie complains but can’t make him change his mind. From there, she goes home and contemplates his plans for her. After an hour or two, she decides she can’t do this. She can’t let him test her like a guinea pig, so she tries to cut the collar off.

It doesn’t work. The leather is too sturdy. Before she gets even halfway through, Garret arrives and tells her she has broken their deal which means her body is forfeit. She thinks he’s joking, but when she tries to call for help, the collar shocks her. After the tap of a button, this collar gives Garret the ability to shoot a jolt of electricity through her body.

Garret has plans for his new acquisition. Once he proves he can control her, he invites some of his associates to pack her up. Before she realizes what’s happened, Marie is stripped, muzzled, leashed, and caged. She is hauled off and transported to one of Garret’s estates. There, she is about to learn what it means to be a good doggie girl. He will teach her new tricks like rolling over, begging for food, and drinking from a bowl.

If she doesn’t find a way out, Marie might have no choice but to accept her new role as his slave, his pet, and his dog.

I really liked this book. The characters were well done. The cover didn't do much for me, but other than that, I thought this was a fun story. If you like humiliation/domination tales, then you should try this one.
