    Life Safer!

I loved this book....and it is indeed a life-safer. Science had been my enemy in the past, but is now a friend...it is a great reference because it describes everything in 'lameman's terms.' Very great book to start off in the prerequisite classes to start studing for nursing! LOVED IT!

    Anatomy really is easy!

I am in school to become a massage therapist and although I have the technique down I have constantly struggled with the anatomy portion. But I bought Anatomy and Physiology For Dummies and I gotta say I don't fear test days, and I feel like I am able to advance with more confidence, so thank you so much, I love all the dummy series. Helped me do VERY well in my college level A& P class!

I used this book to help me prepare for a college level A&P class. I am in the middle of switching careers to the medical field, so have had very limited experience with biology and the sciences. This book was clear, easy to understand, and a very good introduction to the A&P course material itself. The book is also entertaining. It's not as 'technical' as the Barron's books or other study guides, but it still manages to cover the most important topics. The book is also good for just about any age. I'm in my thirties, but I plan to let my 10 year old neice read it for her summer reading list. Good investment.

Very good supplement to any A&P course!

This book is very well organized and gets to the point very quickly. It is the first 'Dummies' book I have bought that I actually used.

    Good handbook for students

I am just starting out as a nursing student and this book is a life saver. I don't recomend using it in place of your text book but it's definatley a worth while reference book for a little extra help and dumbing down the understanding on the tougher stuff.

    A Home Run

I teach this class at a local college, and I recommend this book as an adjunct to the text. A simplified, condensed, easy reading way to ingest some knowledge.
