Editorial Reviews

Doody's Review Service
Reviewer: Harris S Goodman, MD (Saint Francis Memorial Hospital)
Description: These are exactly as described: 250 beautifully detailed, full-color numbered anatomic illustrations on flash cards, with answer keys and brief, relevant discussions on their reverse sides.
Purpose: The flash cards are designed specifically for review of anatomic regions, and do so at a high level of detail with clear diagrams.
Audience: The audience includes any student studying anatomy who needs a compact, yet detailed study aid.
Features: The cards are divided into anatomic regions, with each region subdivided into areas with relevant relationships. The illustrations are beautiful and very detailed, without being overwhelming. The brief discussions on anatomy and medical relevance on the reverse side of the cards keep the task of studying interesting and the user engaged.
Assessment: These are a beautiful and useful supplement for students studying anatomy in detail. They do not replace photographic atlases of anatomy, but will help students learn regional anatomy in a visually pleasant and medically relevant manner.
