More About This Textbook

Overview

This attractive, newly designed set of Barron's Anatomy Flash Cards makes an ideal study aid for med school students, nursing students, and health care trainees who are preparing for tests. Each card pictures a human body part labeled with its medical name, location in the body, and function. A total of 265 4" x 6" cards show muscles, bones, and organs, and are color coded according to their general function in the human body. An important new feature in this second edition is a related Internet resource that contains electronic color images of each flash card. Students can now connect to Barron's special anatomy Web site and enter a unique code allowing them access to the interactive Web site. Once logged on, students can use the site's interactive technology to test themselves on every detail contained on the cards, and even create playlists of particular systems or areas where they require further study. The cards come boxed with a full-color, anatomically accurate poster that shows the human body and its major parts, as well as a toggle so cards can be pulled out and studied on-the-go. The poster unfolds to size 11 3/4" x 16 1/2".

    I Also Recommend:

Best flashcards for A&P by far.

I originally bought the falshcard that our campus bookstore, sold... what a waste of my money. I stubmled up these when I was just going into A&P 2. What a great find! Best $28 I've ever spent as a student. I know if I would have had these for A&P 1 I would have done a lot better on the bones and muscles in particular than I did. They were extrememly helpful for all of the major body systems. Again I cna't stress enough how happy I am I found these and would ABSOLUTELY recommend that anyone who has to take A&P to get and use these flashcards. They will make the course so much easier to get through!

I love these flash cards! It details everything so great! . Thes

I love these flash cards! It details everything so great! . These flash cards are the number 1 tool for anyone going into anatomy and physiology, and into the medical feild. Even down to the sections, if I need to review, I grab and go. I study with these cards in line at the bank, while grocery shopping, even at family functions. They test me with the cards, and thats another great feature. The numbers on one side allows me to quiz myself while the other side has the answers. Everytime I quized myself, i would read the description on the bottom out loud. I thought I'd never get it down pat. These flash cards had help me boost my grade up a letter. From a C+ in Anatomy and Physiology 1, to a B+ in Anatomy and Physiology 2. Now, as a nursing student, they are my little reminders in the pocket of my bag. I reccomend and show off my flashcards to everyone. I can't these flash cards enough!
