Editorial Reviews

American Reference Books Annual 2012 - Shannon Graff Hysell
This volume is like having an X-ray of each exercise or stretch one uses in their bodybuilding program. The full-color, detailed illustrations show users how a change in position can alter the muscle emphasis or improve safety or effectiveness... The illustrations are beautifully executed and well labeled. The layout provides a lot of whitespace and lends itself to either browsing or finding specific information... Would be useful in public libraries, in academic libraries with sports medicine programs, and in the personal libraries of fitness trainers.

    Great book!

This is a great book. I was a bit nervous about buying a book like this, but I am VERY happy with it. It shows you what muscles are involved when exercising, and also what to look for when doing an exercise. The pictures are great and I love that every muscle is named. If you are looking for a great book to explain what every muscle does, when you exercise - then this is the book!
