Before you can get to the moment where you can honestly say, this is wrong and I need to fix it. You have to first figure out the problem. You first have to know where that baggage that causes the conflict comes from. It's this baggage that we bring into every situation that hurts ourselves and others the most. This book is great for dealing with the problem once we know, but I'd recommend R.A. Clark's When God Stopped Keeping score to figure out what those problems are.

If you follow the methods in this book, it will work. It takes some personal courage and self discipline, but the concepts are sound. The book logically lays out why the methods work and then give you practical advice on how to execute. The teaching is done partially through a parable and partially through lessons.

This book was fantastic! Through this easy to read, fictional story, we are the students in the classroom. It's gripping, it's explanatory, it's methodical, and it's ALL applicable! Whatever your race, religion, political party, profession, economical or social status, no matter how unique you are or are not, this book can directly improve your way of being, therefore, directly improving the world you live in. I recommend this to everyone! Seriously, read it and enjoy your new life!

When I received this book I could not put it down. I read it in one sitting. This book has influenced ALL of my relationships for the better...from my best friends to the cashier I meet in the checkout line. If you are receptive to its teachings it can change your relationships as well....and best of all it is rather easy to do. For any Episcopalians out there this is the instruction manual on how to "Seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving your neighbor as yourself".
