Philip Coppens is an internationally renowned investigative journalist, author, and regular contributor to magazines such as Atlantis Rising and NEXUS Magazine. He is labeled a skeptic by the believers, and a believer by the skeptics--a unique position which makes him a well-recognized voice of reason. He is the author of six books, including The New Pyramid Age, and is one of the leading contributors to The History Channel's popular series, Ancient Aliens. He lives in Edinburgh and Los Angeles, California.

Erich von Daniken is arguably the most widely read and most-copied nonfiction author in the world. He published his first (and most well-known) book, Chariots of the Gods, in 1968.     Shocking

    I cannot speak highly enough about this book. Not only is it well thought out and well written, it also brings to life solid, factual proof that I have never even heard of before. This is a must read for anyone who is curious about the idea of ancient aliens.

    If you think you known Ancient Alien Theory, think again!

    I've read a few books on this particular topic as well as watched the History Channel Show. I thought I knew where the author was going to go with this book, but I was wrong. Unexpectedly the author shows how some past theories held high by the Ancient Alien community are in fact false. He also puts forth new ideas and questions that were previously unknown to me. Overall it's a great read with a lot of very well researched facts and ideas.

    Engrossing!

    Being a big fan of the Ancient Aliens television show, this book really interested me. I couldn't put it down. Coppens' writing style flows well, and the information is presented in an unbiased way. The only thing bad about this book is it ended! I wanted more.

    Definitely Recommend

    So far as I have been reading this book, it has been everything I have seen the author talk about when he is on the tv show Ancient Aliens. I also like the fact he credits others in the beginning of the book, like Eric Dankin and Micau Kaku for their research and input. A very good read.

    Makes you think

    There are two sides to every story. I sure enjoyed this side of the story and it left me wanting to learn more. Fast paced and gives you a ton of things to consider. May offend the devoted religious type but evidence is really there. Good stuff.

    Compelling Read !

    I heard Philip Coppens for the first time on Ancient Aliens. I heard him interviewed on "The Paranormal Podcast" and I just had to get this book. A very compelling read; the arguments are well researched and although the prose is sometimes a little scattered - this material really hits hard.
