If nothing else, this short tome by the late Margaret Murray illustrates the logic and the complexity of ancient Egyptian mythology. I got several "a-ha" insights from her writing. Too, it makes me want to have an org chart of the Egyptian gods. Someday, I want to go to Egypt. I'd be thrilled to actually read a heiroglyph. The book already teaches me something of the reasons for their monuments, their festivals and there reverence for their leadership.
Where I fault the book and many other inexpensive/free books is that nobody seems to want to check for errors in text conversion before release. The first time this happened to me, I actually thought the fault was mine.
