Page turner- CANNOT get the stories out of my mind!

Awesome. What more is to say? It has that sort of Jason Bourne pace to events, where I felt the rush, the adrenaline kick in and there was never time to predict the rest of the stories without things getting too confusing. I like how each book has a different character in the world of HOT, SEXY and STRONG vampires, fallen angels and demons, and how they are all connected and are coming together. Ironically I started with the third book first, because it appealed to me most, then read the second and finally the last and I must say reading the story backwards was fun. fun fun Try it.

    Great !!!

Here's something I never say: OH THANK GOD this is a series. I read the preview just to make sure I really wanted it. A couple of pages later and some laughs...I decided the sample is not enough -- I had to have the whole thing. Despite having so much to do being a busy mum of 3, I finished the first book next morning ( yes all 500 pages), and Doomed and Voodoo kiss the past 3 days. there is no way to say it. I am totally utterly madly in love with this series.

Fantastic for young and adult readers

I took a chance with this new series- and can only say I am hooked!!!! save the first book for a quiet evening and don't read it outside like I did in the park. People otherwise will give you the " she must be crazy" look. It made me giggle, squeak and laugh out loud.
The second book was great too. Cass was completely amazing and she is my hero.
I could completely relate to her. Her humor is just beyond belief. I liked the way how things from the first book rolled into the second one and finally into the last one, and everyone was coming together. The last one, Book 3, kept me very entertained. It was mystery mixed with some hot romance. It was dark, eerie, and it kept me guessing a lot. Don't let the cover fool you that this is just the usual paranormal story because each book has a different heroine and you get to know them in great detail. What I liked most is the voice in each book. Amber for example doesn't sound like Cass, and Sofia is so different from Amber and Cass. Combined with lots of romance, there's some interesting creatures that you hope to meet some day ( or maybe not.) It's one of the best series I've read.

    Awesome Books

This trilogy was a satisfying read. It had depth and a lot of humor I didn't expect. The story follows Amber, how she is dragged into the paranormal world by meeting sexy vampire Aidan ( her boss) and mysterious Shadow warrior Devon, who both want something from her. As she falls into a trap and wins a paranormal prize ( the gift of talking to the dead), she finds out the only way to get out of this game is to die.
In the second book Cassandra, Lucifer’s daughter and a fallen angel, finds out that Amber's brother Dallas is the one who is meant for her, but fate has different plans for her and does whatever is necessary to keep them apart.
In book 3, Cass, her vampire and demon friends have to abduct Sofia, who has yet to realize that she is not an ordinary girl but a voodoo priestess with a secret past she has long forgotten. In each book there is romance, suspense and action. The characters were funny in their own way, strong and confident except for Sofia, who has gone through so much it was at times heartbreaking to see her suffer when someone tries to kill her, but the third book was the best one of the three, so it says a lot how good it is. The books made me dream, hope and I wish that this series would never end.
Everyone looking for a good read, this is a series that won't fail to amaze you.

    Great writing

This is a great series about eternal bonds and everlasting love. The writing reels you in and holds you tight. A lot of times the words on the page flow so well you forget you are even reading a book. I am hoping there will be more books in the series.

    AWESOME

Romance or fantasy? Adventure or suspense? This book is one of those special ones that crosses genres. In a way, it's all of the above, which makes for a delightful reading stew. Chapter One wastes no time in introducing us to main character Amber, a young woman living a mundane existence, not believing in any supernatural world or afterlife.

When she takes up a summer job in Scotland, her life changes. She is about to find out that she has very little power in making her own decisions. She is being hunted, she is being chased, she gets attention from a Scottish hot vampire who has her eyes on her and has no intention to let her go. Everyone wants something from her she can't give. It's a deadly game she enters where everyone expects her to make a sacrifice. The ending was awesome. I didn't see it coming, but it made it all the way more enjoyable. I haven't read the second book in the series yet, but I definitely look forward to reading it as the story will be about Cass, the devil's daughter, who was my favorite character in book 1. I like the way she falls in love with Amber's brother Dallas. If a love relationship between a vampire and an ordinary girl was that good, I expect a relationship between a fallen angel and an ordinary boy will be a lot more fun.

    engaging

The first book reminded my of why I grew up loving to read. By no means is it classic literature, but it's fun and I was able to get great mental pictures of the fantasy and dream world. I could actually see myself as Amber and imagine myself as the heroine of the story. I am now halfway finished with the second book. I would recommend this series to everyone who loves to read.

Jayde Scott is one of my favorite authors. I loved each of the three books from the time i started reading it until the end. I could hardly put them down, i didn't want too. I loved them so much I also bought Dead & Beyond bewitched, book 4 of this series and I can say the author really has outdone herself.

    Questions Questions

What would you do if you fell in love with someone only to find out that this person wants the very same thing everyone in the paranormal world consisting of demons, shadows, vampires, hunters, fallen angels..is after once you acquired a special gift ? Would you be willing to die for the person who is supposed to be your " mate"? - Book1 (Amber)

What if the only person you fell in love and you are destined to be with can never be yours? Will you be able to change or outrun FATE?
    Book 2 ( Cassandra)

What if the past comes back to haunt you and finding out the truth about someone was never meant to ease your mind nor your heart? What if sexy looks can be deceiving but there is only one of two guys you are supposed to trust. Book 3 (Sofia)

Each book is a thrilling dark love story with a plot like no other. One of my favorite things is how the author works paranormal and metaphysical ( afterlife, otherworld) into the story line and fills it with romance, some good British humor, twists, mystery and with awesome cliffhangers

Love the feisty heroine and alpha male hero

I've never read any of Jayde Scott's books before, so I had no expectations of this one. To my delight I was completely caught up in the story from the first page and finished all three books within one week because I couldn't stop reading despite my husband complaining.
Nice mix of romance, mystery and suspense that kept me on my toes. I am very satisfied and will buy more from this talented writer.

    reeled me in

This series surprised me, to say the least. I started this book expecting a rather straightforward paranormal romance type of book, complete with love triangles and a predictable ending. However, what I got was a refreshing paranormal read, that is not very easy to figure out- you have to think hard what happens next. What I liked most is that this series has a little of everything: humor, action, a good vampire/fallen angel/shapeshifter/demon story. Most intriguing was for me Devon, the shadow warrior, and I really hope to get to read more about his world in future books. My gut feeling tells me he is connected to Layla, a demi goddess.
All in all, i can say that this set was very easy to read. I got reeled in from the first page and I didn't want to go till I was finished. Now I can't wait to read Bewitched Dead & Beyond next

    Love all the books

I have read all the Ancient Legends books in this series and others by the authors that are not series related. They are some of the best books I have read if you want fun, light, page turners. They get me so engrossed that I read them in a day or two and would stay up half the night because I didn't want to put them down. As crazy as Amber is, fighting against falling in love with her sexy boss Aidan, every self respecting girl can completely relate to her and in their heart want to be her! I can't wait until the next one comes out!

    3 great stories

From the three books, the second story was my favorite. When Dallas sees her and realizes she is the girl from his dreams, he is drawn to her both out of need and curiosity. Little does he know that she is actually the devil's daughter. But when a human and a fallen angel fall in love, they have to fight extra hard to have a relationship. There are rules to be broken, sides to be chosen, and sacrifices to be made.

The second book I could literally NOT put down. The story of Cassandra, a sweet girl with a charm on her own, moved me to bits.

    steamy!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a must read series. Keep in mind they are somewhat steamy and full of suspense (my favorite kind). The third book is my favorite I have thought about it for days. The characters in this book are very real ( 17 year old young woman got dumped by ex- works to get some money- meets her boss, who turns out to be a vampire and someone, who has no plans to let her go- she fights him off...

I love their sex appeal and their family values and that Amber wasn't easy to get. Very believable. Would recommend to everyone

Excellent use of imagery and the story only gets better and better the more you read.

I loved it from front cover to back cover. The cover itself might seem simplistic
Not so. I, myself, wasn't thrilled at first but eventually the descriptions just ate at me.
As for the story itself? I would not say it's the normal vampire story. In fact I would not say it's just a vampire story because the author creates a paranormal world with different creatures, each competing with one another in a race. We have literally heaven and hell, dark and light sides, the creepy, the scary and the worst. And amidst there is just one ordinary girl- Amber- both victim and winner. I loved her most because she has her flaws and she doesn't give up, where other characters would knowing it would be their doom.

    Pretty good series

Some parts are a bit confusing when trying to visualize the scene. Each book is written from a different point of view but it makes the overall series interesting. Great series if you like immortal stories and love.

    Wow

This is the kind of series you don't come across very often, but when you do, you just hope it never ends. It made me laugh, it made me cry, it made me hope and made me wish. I loved each of the 3 books in this fantastic package, but Voodoo Kiss was my favorite as Trhain was so hot, I hope that this book comes out as a movie. I have recommended it to my friends.
