Russia, Egypt, Israel, Iraq, Iran, China, the Arabs, the Kurds, and more.
Some questions answered: Who were the Pharaohs in the times of Joseph and Moses? When did the famine of Joseph occur? What
Egyptian documents mention these? When did the Exodus take place? When did the kings of Egypt start being called "Pharaoh" and why?
Who was the first king of a united Italy? Who was Zeus and where was he buried? Where did Shem and Ham rule and where were they buried? How large was Nimrod's invasion force that set up the Babylonian Empire, and when did this invasion occur? What is Nimrod's name in Persian documents? How can we use this information to witness to unbelievers?

This is an interesting read, although it's short. But considering the topic, not much is known about ancient history so you have to live with a ton of unanswered questions. One thing that may bother some readers is the discussion of the creation date and subsequent dates of biblical events. The author believes in a very recent creation date, using the erroneous and ill-conceived Bishop Ussher chronology. The Bible no where gives us a clue as to the date of creation, nor does it authorize or encourage readers to calculate the date. The answer is no one knows. If the Creator wanted us to know when the earth was created, He would have provided that information, as some of the Gospel writers provided information on certain events surrounding Christ and the rulers of the day, as well as the time of the census, etc. With that being said, the book was fun to read and is recommended.
I got this book a while back on my nook. Now I see that it is not available for nook right now. It is excellent and I wanted my daughter to get a copy for her nook. It really helped in my Bible Study times. To see the history of the different nations.
